And it was pretty neat. I never order the ants offered with the product after hearing tales of dead ant tubes showing up in peoples mailboxes, and my girlfriend and I started catching them around the house. It was a sporty little affair at first, but they didn't thrive in there and starting dying, filling the place with little ant corpses. What started as a fun experiment ended as a depressing reminder of how fleeting life can be. I...I just need a little time to myself right now. Perhaps ants just aren't cut out to live in a cheesy plastic enclosure propped up on somebody's bookshelf in a high-rise apartment in Manhattan waiting for a crumb to drop miraculously from the heavens.
